Group Classes

This class will focus on building both absolute and relative strength. As relative strength (relative to your body weight) increases, everyday tasks become easier. Strength training is an extremely effective method for lowering body fat and increasing muscle definition. By placing stress on muscle strength training boosts your metabolism and keeps you burning calories all day long. In your weekly schedule stack this class with our Functional Cardio classes to optimize results and watch your body composition change!

Strength Conditioning Level 1

Ages: Adult

Description
Level 1 is suitable for clients who are new to fitness or to the Cornerstone. In this class we will build a strong foundation. Focussing on the fundamental techniques of squatting, lunging, deadlifting, pulling and pushing.

Description
Level 1/2 is suitable for fitness clients with a strong foundation, who are comfortable squatting, lunging and deadlifting with the bar or who know all of their modifications and are comfortable making safe choices in a group setting.

Strength Conditioning Level 2

Ages: Adult

Description
Level 2 is suitable for fitness clients with at least 6-12 months experience weight training at the Cornerstone. Participants of these classes should be coordinated enough to understand complex movements, to get through multiple sets and have a high level of cardio.
