In partnership with Coach Arash Dusek, we offer young athletes the opportunity to cross train. 

The gym is a great place to prepare our bodies for how we want to play. This is the place to focus on your strength training and work on your speed and conditioning. During our cross training sessions we will go through phases of:  

  • Improving our aerobic fitness 
  • Developing our fundamental movement patterns
  • Focusing on recovery from injuries such as ankle, knee, and shoulders 
  • Help the soft tissue health by increasing muscle mass 
  • Strength and power development 
  • Working on our energy system development (conditioning sport specific) 

Build a great foundation for your season.  We recommend athletes participate in 2-3 training sessions a week to ensure consistency and development. These classes are open to athletes 12 years and older, who practice any sport or physical art form (including dance & Gymnastics)

If you are have a team of 8 or less athletes looking for sport specific training, we also offer private training. Please inquire with us directly.

About Arash Dusek
Arash Dusek played professional basketball in Iran and Czech Republic from 2012-2022. After his career as a professional athlete came to an end, he found new passion in helping others achieve their training goals. Using his knowledge and expertise from years of athletic training, he embarked on the journey of certifying as an ISSA personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach. Initially his training career started by working as a coach with young athletes, in sports camps.

Alongside his Personal Training career he remains a passionate NCCP basketball coach, focussed on nurturing young basketball athletes. Arash is driven by his desire to continue to grow, develop, gain knowledge and be a part of a team of like minded individuals.

  • ISSA Nutritionist
  • NCCP Basketball Canada
