Fittness-Athon Fundraising Event

On November 20th the Cornerstone will be hosting a community Fitness-athon to raise money for the Nourish East End’s Free Food Market (formerly the Glen Rhodes Food Bank). 

This event is open to any folks who want to participate and is not just limited to Cornerstone Members.  

Details:

When: Sunday November 20th, 9am-12pm Fitness-Athon

What: Participants will be asked to raise $75+ from pledges to participate in the 3hr fitness event (5 x 30 minute classes).

Live Dj: Iced Misto

*Nourish East End is a registered charity, therefore if your donors provide their name and address along with a donation $25 + they are eligible for a tax receipt. 

Classes will include: Energizing Yoga, Core +HIIT, Strength Conditioning, Sprint & Pilates!

We will provide our participants with: Beverages, Light Energizing Snacks, Prizes, Vibes from a Live DJ!

Space is limited to 25 participants. Sign up Now! When we receive your registration we will send you your pledge form so you are ready to start collecting donations!

Prizes will be awarded to:

1. 1st and 2nd Person who raises the most money

2. Person who brings the most Food Donations

3. General Raffle Prize. For every class participants complete, they’ll receive a ballot for the raffle.

Purchase our Nourish East End 3 class pass: $45, limited to 2 per person, all funds raised will be donated directly to the cause.

Nourish East End’s current needs – all shelf stable:

  • Soups: canned, dried and ichiban style – any variety
  • Condiments: (from individual service size to family size) – mustards, ketchup, relishes and mayo, to salad dressings, tahini, oils, vinegars, spices and seasonings et al – variety truly is the spice of life!
  • Breakfast Items: cold and hot cereals, jams, jellies, marmalades, cheez whiz, marmite, nut butters, et al
  • Mac & Cheese: any brand, any size
  • Snacks: granola bars, cookies, crackers, chips et al
  • Toiletries: soap, toothpaste, toothbruches, deodorant, shampoo & conditioner, toilet paper (400+ sheets per roll preferable), et al
  • Other: Aside from non-perishable food, the Foodbank is currently in need of egg cartons and clean, reusable shopping bags.
