Sing, act and dance! Our NEW Musical Theatre Performance Group will tap into students’ triple threat abilities, as they work towards an in-studio performance of a musical, for family and friends to watch! This class runs from September-December 2021, ending with a small performance for family and friends!
This is a community-based project— any dancer, actor, singer or performance loving student age 7 or older is welcome! There is no audition or selection process.
Let’s make a musical! During the Musical Theatre Performance Group program, we will learn songs from the musical “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” (music and lyrics by Clark Gesner) to bridge the gap between dancing, acting and singing. We will experiment with characterization and storytelling, while practicing keeping a steady rhythm as a group. Classes will run from September until December, with an onstage performance before the holiday break. Using teamwork and collaboration, we will discover what it truly means to bring a story to life!
