GYROKINESIS® is a methodology derived from key principles of Qigong, Yoga, and Dance. Comprised of a series of precise undulating movements (circles, spirals, curves, arches) combined with a breathing structure, this unique approach systematically and gently works and opens the entire body, stimulating the internal organs, improving muscle flexibility and articulation of joints and bones, reinforcing the neuromuscular system, oxygenating the blood, and cultivating wellbeing through the harmonization of body systems and energy channels, resulting in increased strength, balance, and freedom of movement. GYROKINESIS® expands, reinvigorates and re-educates the body to move with fluidity, relaxation, and power. As a teacher / guide, Andrea accesses 30+ years of experience as a professional dance artist and strives to bring precision and depth to this practice by combining creativity and personal experience within the existing structure and methodology.
