Krista has been dancing and performing for 14 years and choreographing for 8 years. Her choreography has appears in TOES for Dance’s IGNITE summer intensive, Ryerson Choreographic Works, Ryerson’s New Voices Festival and the Dance Matters series “Into the Fire”. She is currently choreographing for the Garage and hopes to continue presenting her work in Toronto.

Krista has taught children’s classes for two years, and is new to teaching contemporary. Krista’s contemporary class involves many techniques she has learned through her training at Ryerson, as well as outside training at workshops and intensives, and her own explorations. She believes that balancing dance technique with other tools like composition and improvisation is important for class in order to let dancers build their technique while also being free to move without restriction.
